The City of Bardstown’s Electric Department has launched an “Electric Outage Map” that customers can use during an unexpected electric outage while we develop a more advanced outage management system (coming soon). By incorporating the outage data we receive from of our smart meters into this map, we now know of an outage before customers call. During an outage this map will be updated as often as possible based on employee availability and can be used on a desktop, laptop, tablet, or phone and it does not require a log in.
