Welcome!

The sign regulations for the City of Bardstown ensure that everyone is treated fairly and consistently with the rules and regulations. They help to maintain and enhance the aesthetic environment and the City’s ability to attract sources of economic development and growth. The regulations also improve pedestrian and traffic safety. In order to receive a city sign permit, you must fill out the city sign permit application and include all documentation listed on the form.

Sign standards

Please review the Sign Ordinance, and the Bardstown Sign Standards, or contact City Sign Administrator Greg Ashworth at (502) 348-5947 ext. 2223 or email signs@bardstowncable.net to ensure your proposed sign fits within the city's guidelines.
