Job Opening: Seasonal Maintenance Worker
SEASONAL MAINTENANCE WORKER
The City of Bardstown is looking for a qualified individual to fill the position of Maintenance Worker with our Recreation Department.
JOB DUTIES

Assists in the construction, maintenance and cleanliness of departmental grounds and facilities, including buildings, pools, playgrounds, athletic fields, tennis courts, etc.

Cleans recreation facilities after use.

Cuts grass, weeds, trees, and tree limbs.

Prepares ball fields, including dragging, watering, painting, etc.

Operates motorized equipment, including mowers, tractors, weed eaters, etc., safely and efficiently; rakes and collects leaves.

Performs preventive maintenance duties on equipment; cleans and properly stores equipment and tools after use.

Installs, repairs and/or replaces playground equipment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Salary is based on qualifications and experience. Applicants must be able to work flexible shifts. Seasonal employees work a 40 hour work week for up to 9 months. Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
