Job Duties:

• Supervises the operation of departmental programming and events
• Oversees part-time and contract service workers
• Provides communication between the department and all personnel involved in the programs
• Oversees operation of concession stands
• Supervises pool personnel and daily pool maintenance and pool activities
• Responsible for greeting the public and providing information as needed
• Performs general office work
• Responsible for opening/closing and securing department facilities
• Participates in developing programs
• Assures that equipment and facilities are properly used
• Assures cleanliness of facilities and equipment
• Responds to public inquiries, concerns and complaints in an attempt to resolve problems and improve services
• Serves as instructor for recreation-related classes, may serve as official or program leader
• Reports on activities as requested
