City Hall is Still Open! Here's How To Do Business With Us While Our Lobby is Closed

As of March, 17 2020 we've closed our lobby to the general public. However, all City employees will still be working and ready to take your calls and conduct business as usual over the phone. Here's how to do business with us while our lobby is closed.

MEET WITH A CITY HALL EMPLOYEE
(502) 348-5947 - please give us a call between the hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm Monday - Friday! You may still set up appointments to meet with any City Hall employee and schedule a time to come in to meet on a one-on-one basis.

SUBMIT AN APPLICATION/FORM
Many of our documents and forms are hosted on our website. If you can't find instructions for submittal on the form, please call us at (502) 348-5947 between the hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm Monday - Friday. Our receptionist will transfer your call to the appropriate department to help you find the application/form you are looking for or help you submit it.

OBTAIN A LAND DISTURBANCE PERMIT
Download the Land Disturbance Permit and Supplemental Forms from the Documents and Forms section of the City website and fill out with your own information. Once complete, please sign the form and place it in a sealed envelope with a check in the amount that covers the permit fee and Minimum Performance Bond (based on the Site classification) as well as Bond for any proposed or existing sidewalk (if applicable). Use the drive-thru window (during business hours) or deposit it in the drop box and the City will process and contact you when the it is ready for you to collect (typically the same day). More information about how to complete the permit can be found in the Stormwater Section of the website. For questions, please call City Hall at 502-348-5947 during our regular office hours and ask to speak with the Engineering Department.

HOW TO PAY YOUR BILL USING THE DROPBOX
Place check in a sealed envelope along with your bill or a piece of paper stating your name and ten-digit account number. Don't know your account number? The drop box is located at the rear driveway of City Hall. No cash will be accepted.

How to pay your bill using the City Hall Drive-through
Open M - F 8am - 4:30 pm. The drive-through accepts cash, check, or card. Please note, we cannot accept American Express cards. The drive-through is located at the rear of City Hall at 220 N. 5th Street.

Place check in a sealed envelope along with your bill or a piece of paper stating your name and ten-digit account number. Don't know your account number? No cash will be accepted.

Don't know your account number?
Your account number is a ten-digit number which can be found at the bottom right of your bill. If you cannot locate or have not received a bill, you can also call City Hall at (502) 348-5947 Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30 pm and answer security questions in order to receive your account number. 

Utility Bills and COVID-19
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, during the period of March 17th - May 16th 2020, the City will not perform disconnects or charge late penalties related to non-payment on utility accounts. However, customers are still responsible for payment of their regular utility bills. This policy will be reevaluated at the end of this 60-day period.
