Election Day is coming up on Nov 3rd 2020. Due to COVID-19,  the County Clerk's office has offered three different ways that you can cast your ballot for the upcoming elections. The information on this page is for reference use only and is subject to change at any time without notice. 1. In-person early voting
   Anyone who is registered to vote can cast their ballot in-person between Oct 13th - Nov 2nd, 2020. Please bring along a government-issued ID. 
   
   Where: Bardstown Branch of Nelson County Public Library (201 Cathedral Manor, Bardstown KY 40004)
   When:  Mon: 8am - 4pm
                    Tues: 8am - 4pm
                     Wed: 8am - 4pm
                     Thur: 8am - 5:30pm
                     Fri: 8am - 4pm
                     Sat 8am - 12pm

   MAIL-IN BALLOT
   Anyone who is registered to vote can vote by mail-in ballot. To request a mail-in ballot, call the Nelson County Clerk’s office at (502) 348-1829. They will verify your identity and then mail a ballot to you. You can also request a mail-in ballot online. The deadline to request a mail-in ballot is Oct 9th. Your completed ballot must be postmarked by Nov 3rd, 2020.

   IN-PERSON ELECTION DAY (NOV 3rd) VOTING
   Anyone who is registered to vote can vote in-person on Nov 3rd, 2020. There are four polling locations, and anyone, regardless of what part of the County they live in, can vote at any of the following locations.

Voter Registration
You must be registered to vote in this election. The deadline to register to vote is Oct 5th. You can register online here or you can register by completing a voter registration card and submitting it to the Nelson County Clerk's office.

• City Council for Bardstown, Bloomfield, New Haven, and Fairfield

• County School Board: District 2 (Woodlawn area), District 3 (Boston area), District 5 (North East Nelson - Bloomfield, Chaplin, Fairfield areas)
