FIRE FIGHTER/EMT

BENEFITS

• Starting Pay: $45,680 plus state incentive when 400-hour certification is obtained

• 7 hours per month in personal time

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of 18 years old
• Current CPAT card unless laterally transferring from a full time position at another department or two years or less removed from a full time position
• 150 hour certified
• EMT Certification
• Current driver’s license
• Must pass a physical and drug screen

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

• Protecting the “Bourbon Capital of the World”
• Average 1700 calls a year
• Two manned stations
  • Station 1-One 109’ Quint with 3 personnel
  • Station 2-One Engine Company with 3 personnel
• We perform technical disciplines in: swift water, rope, confined space, and hazardous materials technician level
