Safe Haven Baby Box Arrives in Bardstown
Nelson County employees will install the box at the new Bardstown fire station located on Arch Pendergrass way. All emergency personnel will receive training on use of the box and care for any infant that might be surrendered using it. The baby box's alarm system will need to be tested twice a day for a period of one week before the box will be ready for use.
